The search service can find package by either name (apache), provides(webserver), absolute file names (/usr/bin/apache), binaries (gprof) or shared libraries (libXm.so.2) in standard path. It does not support multiple arguments yet...

The System and Arch are optional added filters, for example System could be "redhat", "redhat-7.2", "mandrake" or "gnome", Arch could be "i386" or "src", etc. depending on your system.

We really like the Jifty::Dispatcher manpage and wanted to use it for the Prophet manpage's command line. The basic operation is that of dispatch. Dispatch takes a path and a list of rules, and it returns a list of matches. From there you can "run" the rules that matched. These phases are distinct so that, if you need to, you can inspect which rules were matched without ever running their codeblocks. You want to use the Path::Dispatcher::Declarative manpage which gives you some sugar inspired by the Jifty::Dispatcher manpage.
