It might be a good idea to post the general goals for glade2, e.g.

 o generic code based on GParams in GTK+ 2.0. i.e. as little code as
   possibe which is specific to a particular widget. This means it
   should be much smaller.
 o supporting external libraries of widgets and Bonobo controls.
 o no source code generation (an external code generator could be
   written instead.)
 o model/view architecture.
 o support for undo/redo.
 o more object-oriented.
 o available as Bonobo controls, to be embedded in an IDE or any
   app that wants form-building ability (e.g. GnomeDB).
