Do you mean will Glade run on RTLinux or will Glade affect the real-time
performance?

My understanding of RTLinux is that it has a small hard-realtime kernel
which it shares the processor with "standard Linux". If this is true
then you should have no trouble using Glade and RTLinux together as long
as it will run X. X is presumably run in the "standard Linux" bit.

In any case you could always use a standard Linux distribution for
development and RTLinux for testing/running.

I have no experience (yet) of X and real-time development so I'm not
sure how suitable GTK+ and X Windows are for this type of application.
Other mailing lists and newsgroups might be a better place to ask about.
See www.gtk.org for GTK+ mailing lists. comp.os.linux.x is a good place
for general X questions; comp.os.linux.development.apps might be better
for programming issues.

Sorry I can't be more help.

Cheers, Matt.
