The search service can find package by either name (apache), provides(webserver), absolute file names (/usr/bin/apache), binaries (gprof) or shared libraries (libXm.so.2) in standard path. It does not support multiple arguments yet...

GSwitchIt is just a simple keyboard state indicator and switcher for GNOME panel. Nothing more. There exists wonderful utility for Windows - SwitchIt - which controls and shows switching between the different keyboard layouts. I hope, GSwitchIt eventually will be as useful and comfortable for users as its Windows analog.
