The search service can find package by either name (apache), provides(webserver), absolute file names (/usr/bin/apache), binaries (gprof) or shared libraries (libXm.so.2) in standard path. It does not support multiple arguments yet...

The become utility changes the current effective, or real, user and group identity to those specified on the command line. The default shell (/bin/sh) is then executed. UID and GID are specified numercially and do not have to be currently defined on the system.
