creating full catalog

Is there a way to create the full catalog rdf.gz file that rpmfind needs?
What I am trying to do is set up my own server with and RDF database of all
the packages I have on that machine. I plan on connecting to this machine from
other machines in my network and, using rpmfind, locate and download rpms. I
can get rpm2html to generate the rdfs for all the RPMS, but it doesnt make the
fullCatalog.rdf.gz file. Any tips?

Also, if I try running rpmfind to update packages, it echos the update command
to the display, but it never runs it. Any ideas?
