rpmfind error

I have a problem with rpmfind 1.6.

The error is:

rdfRead /root/.rpmfinddir/fullIndex.rdf.gz: resource is not
wellformed XML
Cannot open catalog /root/.rpmfinddir/fullIndex.rdf.gz

I found a reference to this same error in the archives but
no repsonse to the query.

What must I do to get fpmfind to work.
