Whats up with the fullIndex.rdf.gz/not welformed XML

Using rpmfind recently I got this message:

$ rpmfind --apropos bvi
   The index is 4 day(s) old, refetch [Y/n] : n
   Searching the RPM catalog for bvi ...
   rdfRead /home/reader/.rpmfinddir/fullIndex.rdf.gz: resource is not
   wellformed XML

   Cannot open catalog /home/reader/.rpmfinddir/fullIndex.rdf.gz

I thought maybe the index had been changed in the last 4 days so
redownloaded, and tried again:

rpmfind --apropos bvi
   Searching the RPM catalog for bvi ...
   rdfRead /home/reader/.rpmfinddir/fullIndex.rdf.gz: resource is not
   wellformed XML
   Cannot open catalog /home/reader/.rpmfinddir/fullIndex.rdf.gz

Whats going on here?
