problems building rpm2html on RH6.2

Hello

I 'm trying to build rpm2html in a RH6.2 box and i got the following
during the configure
checking for rpmReadConfigFiles in -lrpm... no
configure: error: *** rpm lib not found

the rpm-devel package is installed
and there s an /usr/lib/librpm.so

Can someone help?
