i seem to have come up with a temporary solution - i'm testing it
again, just to make sure it wasn't a one off piece of luck.
basically i ended up deleting the entire RPM directory created and
the RDF directory. i've then started rpm2html up again - this time
it completed without a bus error - it managed to take about 5 hours
to finish, but i didn't plan on running it more than once a week
anyway.
btw, putting that many files in one directory is a _really_ bad
idea, both in disk utilization terms, as well as emptying the
inode caches, and just in general I/O - it takes more than 1-2
hours for me to delete the RPM directory..
