The Zaval File Search tool is designed to provide easy and powerful indexing
and search facilities in corporate networks with SMB/MS Network shares. The
similar technologies are MS Indexing Service, and Napster-like tools.
Instead of well-known decisions the Zaval File Search provide support for
small and medium networks. In fact, the MS solution contains ability to use
network as couple of distributed shares. The Zaval File Search contains
possibilities to provide regular scan of these networks and create indexes.
The another part of Zaval ile Search, called zfsearch-client, provides
fast, powerful and robust search facility over the files have indexed.
The basic architecture of this tool is client-server, and the separate
Unix-based server with Apache is required.
