Xawdecode is a software that allows you to watch TV.
It interacts with AleVT for Teletext and Nxtvepg for NextView,
and uses the video4linux API. It can use deinterlacing filters
and record video files with the ffmpeg, xvid, and divx5.05 codecs.
You can schedule easily schedule recording, and watch an orther
channel than the one you are recording.

This package was originally made by Pingus <pingus77@ifrance.com>
then repacked and maintained by Thibaut Cousin <linux@thibaut-cousin.net> for
SuSE Linux, and now maintained by Sebastien Corot <scorot@libertysurf.fr>.
