eTktab is an ascii tablature editor for 4, 5, 6, and 7 stringed instruments.
The program emphasizes fast entry with 30 fretboard positions available
through one keypress, mouse-driven cut and paste, and two insertion modes
for chords or solos, and lyrics entry.  This software allows custom guitar
tunings, and note modifiers (such as hammer-on).  It runs on Macintosh,
Windows, and most Unix variants.  Plug in files for other languages and
keyboards are available at http://etktab.sourceforge.net
