Cleanfasta is used for removing extra characters of description from FASTA format files used for biological sequences. The FASTA format starts a sequence with a ">" and one line of description. When the one line description is too long it falls over to a second line if opened with a text editor confusing many programs. Cleanfasta removes any characters to prevent fall-over from occuring later if the file is opened with a text-editor.
