This is Tcl/Tk 8.4 together with [incr Tcl] 3.2 as part of
the GDB/Insight source tree.

Some CDK4AVR packages will need this Tcl/Tk runtime environment:

   * GDB/Insight -- the graphical GNU debugger frontend
   * Mfile       -- a simple Makefile generator for AVR-GCC

Install Tcl/Tk if you want to use one of these tools.
Most programmers will want to install Tcl/Tk.


Tcl is a simple scripting language designed to be embedded into
other applications.  Tcl is designed to be used with Tk, a widget
set, which is provided in the this package.  This package also
includes tclsh, a simple example of a Tcl application.

Tk is a X Windows widget set designed to work closely with the tcl
scripting language. It allows you to write simple programs with full
featured GUI's in only a little more time then it takes to write a
text based interface.

[incr Tcl] is an object-oriented extension of the Tcl language. It
was created to support more structured programming in Tcl and comes
together with nice features:

  * the [incr Widgets] mega-widget set
  * the [incr Tk] framework for building mega-widgets
