AlphaMail is a full-featured IMAP webmail client which runs on a mod_perl
enabled Apache 2. It uses a C++ daemon to maintain IMAP connections and cache
frequently-used items to reduce the load on the IMAP servers. It supports
Javascipt for user-level interface enhancements, but all critical features
degrade and work correctly when scripting is not available. It has a
small-screen (PDA) mode, and is usable from screen readers for added
accessibility.
