* Fri Jun 20 2008 Herton Ronaldo Krzesinski <herton@mandriva.com.br> 2.6.1-4.1mdv2008.0
+ Revision: 226942
- Fixed modified zh_CN that was making localedef segfault with some
locales that used it.
- Fix week mess definition in many locales, causing issues like
bug #39391:
* First, many provided custom locales (those that override the ones
from glibc-i18ndata) define week = 7;19971201;4 but don't define
first_workday, so the default 2 is used when should be 1 in these
cases (2 = tuesday). Fix by defining first_workday = 1 and for
completeness also first_weekday = 1 (is the default, not really
needed);
* Doesn't seem right to have first weekday = monday fix for some es_??
countries, just use the same setup as on the localedata provided by
upstream glibc (I did a quick check on them);
* Update locales that don't need anymore the "fix for locales using
monday as first week day", this is what in first place caused
bug #39391: the buggy fix just added an week = 7;19971201;4 without
checking for an already existing first_weekday/first_workday
definition. Not only locales that don't need this anymore were
removed from the check, but the fix now is made correctly checking
for week/first_weekday/first_workday fields and adding them as
necessary. This first weekday = monday fix should be sent to
upstream locale maintainers in the future.
* Also remove locales from first weekday = monday fix when they
already copy LC_TIME section from another fixed locale.
- Fixed error in included az_AZ locale that prevented its generation
("circular dependencies between locale definitions").
- Post of all locales packages missed to inform all locale variants to
locale_install.sh, resulting in rpm _install_langs macro missing many
items. This can cause bugs making rpm not installing lang marked files
even when the right locale package is installed for affected files of
the language, as an example see bug #39789. Then now add all missing
variants to locales post scripts; I also made all file lists of
packages to explicitly reference each locale variation, so when
updating with new variants referenced in building like xx_?? we get a
unpackaged files error, and with this remembering/being sure to add
the new items to rpm post scripts.
- Update _install_langs rpm macro on package upgrades too.
- Fixed build of zh_HK with BIG5-HKSCS charset.
