PPPoE requires you to have a working ethernet card, setup with the proper module. You can use the Network menu to configure that. Please note that you must NOT assign an IP address to your network card, and NOT configure the card to come up at boot time. You will also need to setup the DNS servers in the Linuxconf Network section.
PPPoE requires you to enter a username and password, which have been assigned to you by your ISP.
